I enjoy working all of the amateur radio bands and modes and hold a special soft spot for the 10 meter band. On this band I have worked a great many stations both DX and non-DX. Many are the times when I here folks on 2 meters and 10 meters exclaiming the band is dead and yet I have proven them wrong on more than one occasion simply by getting on 10 meters and calling CQ.

Along the lines of my 10 meter activities I also enjoy working various 10-10 International sponsored events as well as collecting individual (and club) 10-10 membership numbers. I was a member of the Central Florida Cypress Chapter of 10-10 which has now gone QRT. Our local 10-10 chapter is called the Cypress Chapter (not to be confused with the CFCC) which I have been involved in since it was started. I am the sponsor of the K4RRF DX Award for the Cypress Chapter and I encourage you to try your hand at this award.
